A fast-talker named C. G. P. Grey has put together a delightful, informative video about the geographical entities that terms like "Britain" and "Empire" conjure up. (I learned of this video from dvorak.com.) I plan to watch this video several times, until I despair of remembering everything it's about. It's called The United Kindom (and a whole lot more) explained.
